NDA to start 'Save Sabarimala Yatra’ on Wednesday


Pandalam: The ‘Save Sabarimala Yatra’ organized by the NDA will start on Wednesday from Pandalam and conclude on October 15 at the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram.

On October 10, the Yatra will begin from Manikandan Althara and end the first day at Adoor. On 11th, it will begin from Padanilam in Nooranad and end in Kayamkulam. It will be start from Chavara on 12th and conclude at Kollam. On 13th, the procession will be heading to Kottiyam from Kollam. They will reach Kazhakootam from Attingal on the 14th. The Yatra will conclude at Secretariat on October 15.

The yatra will be led by NDA state president Thushar Vellappally, Pandalam palace action committee administrators, and various other association leaders.

A planning committee meeting was held at Pandalam in which BJP state president PS Sreedharan Pillai, general secretaries MT Ramesh, Sobha Surendran, K Surendran, association secretary M Ganesh, state secretary V Sivankutty, SC Morcha state secretary P Sudheer and district leaders of BJP and Yuva Morcha from Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kollam and Kottayam attended.
