They (sangh parivar) are trying to destroy that. Do not fall for their tricks," he said.
“The violence and the recent happenings in the state are a move to take Kerala back to pre-renaissance period. Women have been part of many revolts in history, but the Women Wall was unique. Women en masse took part in the demonstration.”

Kerala is a state that uphold renaissance values and secularism. Moves are being made to restore the regressive customs in the state. This can’t be ignored. Hence a meeting of the renaissance organisations were called and Women wall was organized, CM said.

“The details of two women who have offered darshan at Sabarimala temple was out. Sangh Parivar is trying to turn Sabarimala into a war zone. Some people with vested interests are trying to create problems in the state with the desire to bring down the government. RSS is leading them and Congress in support.”

CM also said that the Supreme Court verdict ensures equal rights to every citizen in the country. Equal rights exist in case of worship also, he added.

CM mocks Parivar; Asks why no hartal after one more woman treks Sabarimala

There were leaders in Kerala who had declared that they will commit suicide if any young woman visited the Sabarimala temple

Thiruvananthapuram: Taking a dig at the Sangh Parivar outfits, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday ridiculed the BJP and RSS and asked why they have not called for a hartal after one more woman had trekked the hills and offered prayers at Sabarimala. Addressing party workers at Karette on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, Pinaray Vijayan asked whether they observe hartal again if any woman entered the temple.

There were leaders in Kerala who had declared that they will commit suicide if any young woman visited the Sabarimala temple. But we don’t wish for any suicide. Congress and UDF are of the stance that ordinance should be issued, which is embarrassing. This stance will retaliate in the Ayodhya issue, CM warned.

Lashing out at the Sangh Parivar forces, Pinarayi Vijayan said they were trying to disrupt the peace and unity of the state.

"We faced the worst floods in 100 years. We are trying to rebuild our state, a rejuvenated Kerala, a new Kerala. We need that unity which we showcased during floods (in August).
They (sangh parivar) are trying to destroy that. Do not fall for their tricks," he said.
